Celebrating Scotland and Zambia

Thank you to the Scottish and Zambian Governments for inviting our Friends of Chitambo board members,Mr Levi Chifwaila (Zambian Chair) and Mrs Ida Waddell(pictured with Joanna Keating, Head of International Development),to the evening reception celebrating Scottish First Minister Rt Hon John Swinney's historic visit to Zambia. It was the first time,ever,that a Scottish First Minister had visited Zambia.
Levi is Head of Nursing Studies at the Kwana Nkhruma University in Kabwe, Central Province, and Ida is a senior theatre nurse and Church of Scotland Mission Partner at Mwandi Mission Hospital, Western Province. Despite their busy programmes and the long distances involved,they both managed to get there. Thank you to them for their dedication in representing us.
