Its raining Chitambo babies!
Clare Beach (Turnbull) was also born at Chitambo Hospital in October 1976. Her parents, Jim and Sally Turnbull, pictured with newborn baby Clare, came to Zambia as VSOs in 1973.
Jim managed a farming cooperative at Chizera, North Western Privince, and Sally worked as a nurse with the Zambian flying doctor service. They later worked in Mkushi District, in the farming block.
Clare has revisited Zambia several times in her childhood and youth. She has a few years to go before her 50th but would like to follow Megan Hernberg Baxter's example to revisit Chitambo at some stage.
