Friends of Chitambo is heartbroken at the news of the passing of Mr David Moffat, descendent of Malcolm Moffat who founded Chitambo Hospital in 1908.
He passed away peacefully, yesterday, in hospital in Lusaka.
Mr Moffat was a wonderful man who contributed much to life in Zambia, including founding the acclaimed Chengelo School at Mkushi. He will be greatly missed.
Deepest heartfelt condolences to his wife, Christine, and all the family. They are very much in our thoughts and we wish them much courage in the days ahead.
