We have just received new stock for our Penicuik Storehouse stall here in Scotland....a whole huge suitcase of it!
The stall supports health projects at Chitambo Hospital in Central Province, Zambia
The goods were brought by 2 retired Scottish NHS medical Consultants, Mr Alberto Gregori, Orthopaedic Surgeon, and his partner, Dr Trish O'Connor. Emergency Medical Specialist.
Both serve with FlySpec, Zambia's renowned Flying Surgical Specialist service:FlySpec
One of our FoCH Trustees, Karen Edwards, is the daughter-in-law of Professor John Jellis, FlySpec founder. She purchased these crafts for us and arranged to send them over with the docs...both of whom are very keen to visit Chitambo and see what they can contribute there.
Thank you very much to them and to Karen for all their help. It's such a small and amazingly interconnected world, isn't it?
