It's full steam ahead with our Scottish Government funded project on Quality Improvement of Maternal and Neonatal Healthcare in Chitambo District, Central Province, Zambia.
We are preparing to launch ythe Safe Motherhood Action Group (SMAG) training component of the project and this entails first distributing bicycles and other essential medical equipment to the District 's 19 local health facilities.
Here's a message from the dedicated local team who are preparing to launch this initiative:
"Packing of t-shirts, solar lamps and medical equipments, according to each Health facility, is under way."
