Focus on fundraising!
Firstly we restocked our Penicuik Storehouse stall, which brings in a steady monthly income. Thanks to Agnes for her superior window dressing skills.
Then there was yesterday's Penicuik Late Summer Street Fair Saturday 3rd September. Hard work paid off and, despite the poor weather, we raised £366 towards our Mothers Waiting Shelter and other projects at Chitambo Hospital.
Thanks to the Penicuik District & Community Council for the opportunity and to our helpers and supporters for your generosity.
What friends we have in Rosemary Bartley and Heather Nicholas, who helped to run the stall. Rosemary is a professional baker and her cakes and scones are 2nd to none!
