An Immense Privilege

What a privilege! FoCH UK Chair, Jo Vallis, was invited to Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, on Thursday 20th June 2024, on the occassion of the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate on Zambian President, His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema of the Republic of Zambia.
Other members of the Scottish Zambian Partnership (SCOZAP) also attended. Thank you to the organisers for this unique invitation and opportunity.
The President also met with Scotland's First Minister, Mr John Swinney, and other members of Scottish Government. It was exciting to hear that Chitambo came up in conversation. with possible implications for development.
