Remembering Janet

Today is the 4th anniversary of the passing of our beloved Honorary President, Mrs Janet Knox. Janet was a nursing sister at Chitambo in the 1960s and always retained a heart for the place.
Her legacy lives on in the FoCH Student Nurse Scholarships, which were her brainchild.
We are thrilled to say that our 3 outgoing students (pictured, centre, L to R Mwenda, Maureen, Chitambo) passed their final exams with flying colours and are proceeding to registration with the Zambian General Nursing Council. We are so proud of them.
Meanwhile, our 4 new proteges have started their training and we look forward to hearing about their progress through our Trustee, Ms Tililenji Phiri. Tili is a highly qualified teacher who will act as their Mentor throughout their training. Thank you to her and to our many sponsors including Janet's loving husband George and sisters Lindsay and Rhona, as well as Mr and Mrs Jan and James McGrory who have enabled us to add an additional student. Your joint efforts are changing lives.
