Engineers Without Borders Zambia (EWBZ) are at Chitambo fitting hybrid solar geysers on the new Mothers Waiting Shelter (MWS). This will give expectant mothers staying in the shelte before delivery of their babies hot water for washing and showering.
EWBZ have also assessed the donated solar panels in the hospital lab and found the batteries to be faulty. They suggest either getting them reconditioned or replaced, and will be sharing the details in a report.
