It's that pedal power time again!

Hot on the heels of our Trustee, Karen's, fundraising Fun Run on Sunday 6th November, 2022, was her fundraising Cycle Ride on Sunday 13th November.
Both events took place in the Forest Sanctuary on her husband's Lusaka farm, which is also the inspiration for our 'Treasures of Zambia' 2023 Calendar.
Heavy rain threatened cancellation of both the fun run and the cycle ride. However, luckily, both days dawned dry enough for the events to proceed.
Both were surprisingly well attended, given the weather, and, between them, they have contributed substantially to the first £1,000/18,000 Kwachas of the £10,000/180,000 Kwachas which FoCH must raise as our contribution to the Chitambo Hospital Mother's Waiting Shelter.
Many thanks to Karen for her initiative in organising these events, and to all who took part and supported them. This is the 3rd successful cycle ride that Karen has organised and hosted, amongst other events.
We are working in collaboration with a New Zealand Rotary Club and another Scottish Registered charity....www.swansonfamilycharity.org.uk....to raise the full amount (£36,000/648,000 Kwachas), during 2023.
