We have been silent too long, due to a major project we're working on. More of that in due course.
Meantime, we're thrilled to announce Chitambo Hospital's receipt of the resuscitaire donated by Drs Alberto Gregori and Trish O'Connor. It was shipped from England but got stuck at Chirundu border post, in southern Zambia.
When it was finally released, Dr Sydney Chabala, Medical Officer in Charge at Chitambo Hospital, travelled to collect it in person. This was great dedication.
In addition, Zambian based NGO, Mission Geeks....Missiongeeks.org.. has been to Chitambo to install elements, purchased by Friends of Chitambo, in 2 other hospital resuscitaires.
So now, the hospital sports 3 life saving machines for the benefit of tiny newborns.
