Thanks to Aglaia Kempinski, Storehouse Development Manager, we have been granted a stall at this wonderful community enterprise. Thank you, we are extremely grateful for this opportunity.
Jo Vallis, FoCH Chair and Joanne Cannon, FoCH Secretary, spent time pricing beautiful handmade Zambian crafts provided by Agnes, one of our longstanding Zambian Diaspora members.
An added bonus is that Joanne (pictured) is a volunteer at the Storehouse so ideally placed to help with logistics. Opening for business today!
Proceeds from sales will be in aid of health projects in Chitambo District, Central Province, Zambia, including establishing a maternity wing at the hospital; funding nurse training scholarships for financially disadvantaged students; contributing to ambulance maintenance; sustaining emergency care activities; and other related initiatives.
