A heartfelt tribute

Friends of Chitambo (FoCH) pays a belated but none the less heartfelt tribute to a giant if a man: Mr Wilson Sumaili, Engineer with Mulilo Gases, Zambia:

Mr Sumaili was a great friend of Chitambo, equally much loved by the local community and by FoCH.
He installed the Scottish Government-funded oxygen generator at Chitambo, during the Covid virus pandemic and will always be remembered for that massive contribution
We were heartbroken to hear of his sudden, unexpected passing at University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, on Monday 27th July 2026.
This was a cruel blow to his beloved wife and family and our hearts go out to them at this tough time. But we know that Mr Sumaili's incredible legacy lives on in them. Stay strong blessed family. We march on with you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
