Christmas already?!
Friends of Chitambo (FoCH) is working for Chitambo!
In Scotland, we have a stall in the Penicuik Christmas Fair this Saturday, 23rd November 2024, 2.30 to 5.
Our trusty team of Street Fair Angels, Gillian, Rosemary, Heather, and young Rowan, aged 15, will be on hand to help.
They will be selling raffle tickets for 12 fabulous prizes, many generously donated by local businesses: AilaBells gift shop (https://m.facebook.com/AilaBellsGiftsbitsandblooms/); the Veriaty Shop; and Lidls Penicuik. A massive thanks to both donors and helpers.
Our team will also be running a tombola, with 70 lovely prizes to win.
All in aid of finalising the Mothers Waiting Shelter (MWS) at Chitambo Hospital, Zambia, and contributing to renovating the maternity unit. The lights are on in the MWS! This project has been a perfect collaboration between Chitambo, FoCH and many generous donors. 40 locally made bunk beds have been delivered to the MWS and 40 waterproof mattresses are on order.
It's all a win win!
