HUGE THANKS AND CONGRATULATIONS!
Firstly Friends of Chitambo extends a HUGE thanks to our esteemed Secretary, Ms Mudenda Munkombwe, for facilitating an opportunity for our Zambian-based Trustee, Mr Levi Chifwaila, to attend a wonderful Global Health workshop in Kigali, Rwanda! This was through a church contact and is sponsored by the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Levi was selected on merit of his competitive application and flies out to Kigali on 9th February. Many, many congratulations Levi. Have a great journey and we look forward to hearing all about it.
This is great opportunity with potential for opening many doors. One such door is for Levi to meet the three Rwandan Librarians who are booked to attend a Knowledge Broker workshop in Lusaka, Zambia from the 24 to the 26 March 2020, courtesy of our Scottish Government Small Grant project on 'strengthening emergency care communications.' Contact details have been exchanged, with potential for meeting up for mutual support and networking. Wishing everyone a really enjoyable time together!
