Medical handbooks destined for Chitambo district

Ten copies of the African Federation of Emergency Medicine (AFEM) Handbook of Acute and Emergency Care are destined for Chitambo District. This book comes highly recommended by top emergency care specialists around the world and will hopefully help Chitambo health staff in their challenging task of managing common emergencies in this remote and rural area. Thanks to Scottish Government for sponsoring these books as part of our Small Grant project on 'strengthening emergency care communications in Chitambo District.' This will make a difference.
