Scottish Government's Contribution to International Development Report, 2018/19

Friends of Chitambo greatly values such collaborations for the greater good of those most in need of support.

Thank you to all of our colleagues and partners who are making this possible!

A particular thanks to our Zambian In-Country Manager and Project Co-ordinator, Mr. Consider Mudenda, who has driven much of the related practical work on the ground and has also facilitated collaboration with the Virtual Doctors to implement six new telehealth links in Chitambo District. This will enhance Chitambo's emergency care communications network by enabling isolated Clinical Officers to obtain help and advice on challenging cases, when needed.

Thank you, too, to Dr. Morgan Broccoli, Emergency Care Specialist, and team, from Boston USA, who are currently providing In-hospital Trauma and First Responder training at Chitambo Hospital, courtesy of Scottish Government funding.
