Edinburgh University Social Anthropologist, Dr. Naomi Haynes, discusses her new research on Zambian religion and politics. Dr. Haynes spent 16 years living and working in Zambia's Copperbelt. She speaks fluent Bemba.
Supported by live Zambian music and light refreshments. By suggested donation of £7 at the door, in aid of a set of 30 new rechargeable batteries for the x-ray plant at Chitambo Hospital, Central Zambia. Each battery costs around £21.50. The full set is around £645.
